Following an investigation by Trafford Council’s Trading Standards Unit, Leila Ghahhary (instructed by Trafford Council) has successfully prosecuted the company Diversityetrade Limited and its two directors who were found to be selling over £230,000 of counterfeit BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Land Rover, Honda and Jaguar branded merchandise. The Directors each received a 12 month suspended sentence for 2 years. Miss Ghahhary also successfully conducted confiscation proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act against all three Defendants, securing over £75,000 in confiscation orders on behalf of Trafford Council.
