Abigail Holt Success in NMC Tribunal
Abigail Holt successfully represented a nurse charged with dishonesty, drug errors, a series of record-keeping errors and an allegation that she carried out a home visit when she was not supposed to see patients at home.
Most of the factual allegations were thrown out. Overall, the NMC found misconduct in relation to 2 charges only but, overall, found that the nurse’s fitness to practise is not impaired.
The successful nurse will now be able to resume her career after a 2 1/2 year fight to clear her professional registration.
Instructed by Lucy Catterall, Solicitor at the Royal College of Nursing, Sunderland.
