Manchester Arena Inquiry Volume One Report Published Today
The Manchester Arena Inquiry has been established to investigate how and in what circumstances, 22 people tragically came to lose their lives in the attack at the Manchester Arena on 22 May 2017 and, to make any such recommendations as may seem appropriate.
Following many months of evidence, Sir John Saunders, the Chairman of the Inquiry, has published his first report. This report, Volume One: Security for the Arena, is the first of three and examines the security arrangements in place at the Manchester Arena generally and on the 22 May 2017. It sets out the circumstances of the attack, conclusions and recommendations. Please note that the Volume One Report contains content that some may find distressing.
