Alistair Webster KC starts a trial this week in which he is defending a PHD student and lecturer who is charges with a terrorism offence.

Alistair Webster KC is instructed to represent the defendant by Sophia Ali of KA Solicitors.

It is alleged that his client was building a drone on behalf of Islamic State which could be used to deliver deadly gases upon selected targets.

The trial is at Birmingham Crown Court and is expected to last 5 weeks.
