Acquittals have been secured in an eleven count rape and sexual assault case following a six day trial at Telford Crown Court.
The client was alleged to have committed a campaign of rape, involving elements of sadistic behaviour, at times when the complainant said she was physically or emotionally vulnerable.
The client had been specific in his choice of legal team and had instructed Rachel Murphy of Morgan Brown Solicitors and Shirlie Duckworth.
Shirlie Duckworth was commended for the quality of her closing speech once the jury had returned their verdicts.
