Sarah Magill visits Israel with Military Expert Panel

Sarah Magill was part of a delegation of military experts invited to visit Israel in the context of the ongoing conflict.
The delegation was provided with unprecedented access to materials, evidence and senior commanders from Israel’s military, intelligence services and military advocate general corps, government (up to and including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu) and met the Israeli opposition, Israeli Arabs, Palestinian authors and campaigners, among others.
They met with and heard from the survivors of the 7th October massacres and visited the sites where the massacres took place; including the Kibbutz Kfar Aza, Nahal Oz and the Nova Festival sites. They met special forces operators and IDF who fought to retake the land over the subsequent days. They met and spoke with hostages’ parents, some of whom were 7th October survivors themselves and one of whom is from Leeds.
The delegation was given access to Gaza to study the conflict zone, Hamas’ tunnels, IDF operations and Palestinian Authority and NGO-led humanitarian aid operations.
The delegation comprised former NATO generals and senior officers from key NATO states including special forces and intelligence commanders, former MPs, UK lawyers, journalists, authors and academics. The countries represented on the panel were the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, France and Romania.
At the end of the week the panel presented robust recommendations to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a private meeting and meaningful discussion took place.
Sarah Magill is a specialist in military law and is instructed by members of the special forces and senior military officers. She is a specialist Counter-Terrorism panel prosecutor. She also heads Free From Fear, an NGO that assists terrorist-regime targets to evacuate their country of origin and resettle in safety, giving her additional expertise. She created Free From Fear following the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan in 2021 and the charity has helped thousands of people.
