Richard English Appointed as King’s Counsel

The members of Lincoln House Chambers are delighted to announce that Richard English has been appointed as Kings Counsel.

The appointment is made by His Majesty The King on the advice of the Lord Chancellor,
Shabana Mahmood KC MP, following consideration by the independent King’s Counsel (KC)
Selection Panel. Richard is one of 105 new King’s Counsel (also known as silks) announced today.

Head of Chambers Kate Blackwell KC said, “We are delighted that Richard has been appointed silk. He is very well respected on circuit and beyond and it is richly deserved. We wish him the very best of luck as he enters this new chapter of his legal career.”
