Alan Conrad Q.C. Appointed as Circuit Judge
We are delighted to announce that the Queen has appointed Alan Conrad QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor Chris Grayling MP. The Right Honourable Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has assigned him to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Crown Court.
Alan Conrad QC was called to the Bar in 1976 and took Silk in 1999. He was appointed as a Recorder in 1997.
Head of Chambers Alistair Webster Q.C and Guy Gozem Q.C. commented “Alan was one of the founding members of chambers, in 1978. He has been an advocate of high quality throughout his career and will be a very positive addition to the bench. His wit and charm will be very much missed in chambers and we wish him the best for his career upon the bench.”
