Alistair Webster Q.C. secures prosecution of the man who murdered his friend
Alistair Webster has just completed the successful prosecution of Jonathan Snape, who was convicted on 18 December 2018 of murdering Nathan Marshall and attempting to murder Aaron Baker. He was sentenced to life imprisonment, with a minimum of 24 years to serve. Snape, having lost his temper when fuelled by alcohol and cocaine, drove an Audi A4 at a group of people outside a club in Brinnington, aiming to kill a man with whom he had been fighting. He also hit and killed a man whom he claimed to be his friend, then reversing over his body. This is the second murder using a vehicle as a weapon which Alistair has prosecuted recently.
