Bribery Seminar – Lincoln House Chambers
[intro]Lincoln House Chambers inconjuction with Grant Thornton housed a packed audience at last nights Bribery Act seminar; “Time to get Serious”.[/intro]
Sally Longworth, partner in Grant Thornton’s Forensic and Investigation Services team opened the seminar with an overview.
Jonathan Armstrong, English based partner with American law firm Duane Morris gave the audience an insight as to how the act may effect business in the US and other international markets.
Followed by the ever entertaining Monty Raphael QC of leading law firm Peters & Peters sharing his views and invaluable knowledge and experience spanning over 50 years or more.
The session’s last speaker found Alistair Webster QC, head of the Business Crime and Regulatory Team at Lincoln House Chambers draw together three practical examples of how the act may impact business and his very thoughtful views as to how you may address their needs.
