Care Worker’s Relief At Acquittal
A Padiham care worker has spoken of his relief following his acquittal on charges of ill treatment of care home residents. Mark Taylor, aged 57, of Stockbridge Road, Padiham was tried on allegations that he mistreated elderly residents of a home for those suffering from dementia. He was acquitted on all eight counts following a trial at the Crown Court at Burnley on 13th January 2014. Mr Taylor was defended by Tim Storrie and Geoffrey Ireland of NGA Solicitors, Burnley, Lancashire.
