End of the road for sexual predator
Rabbi Todros Grynhaus, a prominent member of the Haredi community, has been convicted of 7 counts of sexual assault upon two teenage girls. The prosecution team was led by Alistair Webster Q.C. The victims had been brought under enormous pressure by some members of the Haredi community not to give evidence.
Speaking after the conviction, Alistair said, ” These girls showed enormous courage in breaching the wall of silence and resentment which some members of their community stood behind. The effect of the abuse upon their lives permeates their whole experience of life. I am very pleased to have played a part in bringing such a man, defiant to the last, to justice.”
