Lewis Bocking obtains acquittal of all 9 counts following a 5-day trial at Preston Crown Court

Lewis Bocking, instructed by Beth Wilson of Forbes Solicitors LLP, successfully secured acquittal of all 9 counts on the indictment following a trial at Preston Crown Court.

MW was alleged to have committed a host of domestic violence-related offences against his wife, including controlling or coercive behaviour, strangulation, suffocation, numerous counts of ABH, assault by beating and criminal damage. MW maintained throughout his police interview and trial that the allegations were fabricated following the breakdown of the marriage. Following the acquittal, Lewis’ client maintains his good character.
