Matthew Howarth Elevated on the Attorney General’s Panel of Counsel

Chambers are delighted to announce that Matthew Howarth has been elevated to Panel B by the Attorney General as Junior Counsel to the Crown.

Matthew Howarth received a letter of appointment from The Right Honourable Lord Harmer KC MP who described the competition for places on the Panel as “fierce”. His appointment as Panel B Counsel will formally commence for five years beginning 3 March 2025.

As Panel B Junior Counsel to the Crown, Matthew will be continuing his work in complex Immigration, Public Law and Judicial Review cases for all Government Departments.

Matthew will join other members of chambers on Panel B such as, Heather Aspinall and Leila Ghahhary, alongside Lee Hughes demonstrating Lincoln House Chambers’ strength in civil and public law at the highest level.
