Neil Usher Appointed as Recorder
Chambers is delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Usher as a Recorder (Northern Circuit).
Andrew Thomas QC, Head of Chambers, commented “We are all very excited for Neil, he has a wealth of experience in difficult and sensitive cases and will bring his skills to bear in his judicial role. This is an excellent appointment”.
The Queen appointed 159 Recorders in total (12 on the Northern Circuit) on the advice of on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon. Neil’s appointment is effective as of 16th September 2019.
Neil was called to the Bar in 1993 and specialises in serious crime and professional disciplinary work.
