Paul Lawton was called to the Bar in 1987 and was appointed as a Recorder in 2005. He has been a member of Lincoln House Chambers for the majority of his career but had previously spent time at both Young Street Chambers and Manchester House Chambers.

Head of Chambers, Alistair Webster Q.C. said of Paul Lawton:

“He has been a stalwart member of chambers, a good companion, and a valued member of the management committee.

From a personal point of view, I have thoroughly benefitted from , and enjoyed, his company.

He goes with our best wishes and thanks. Since he will initially sit in Woolwich, we hope that it will not be too long before he returns to the Circuit.”
