Shirlie Duckworth secures conviction after trial for an offence of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm
Shirlie Duckworth secured a conviction after trial against Stephen Tulloch for an offence of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Another man, John Abbott, had pleaded guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. John Abbott and Stephen Tulloch had attacked a 21 year old male with weapons including a machete causing serious wounds to his face, head, finger and back.
Miss Duckworth also secured the conviction after trial against Clair Beasley, Mr. Tulloch’s partner, for assisting an offender by trying to clean up the crime scene. The three defendants will be sentenced on December 10th.
