Yousef Makki death not unlawful killing.
In her decision at the conclusion of the inquest into the death of Yousef Makki, the South Manchester Coroner has ruled that she could not make a finding of unlawful killing, as asked for by the family of Yousef Makki. This conclusion was in line with the submissions made by Alistair Webster QC, representing Joshua Molnar.
In welcoming the conclusions of the Coroner, Alistair said: “ I defended Joshua at his original trial, when he was acquitted of murder and manslaughter. Since then, he has been the target of a campaign questioning the results of the trial and the subject of much misinformed comment.
The case has now been examined in depth by two separate tribunals. It is to be hoped that the two decisions will now be accepted.
